Parish Activity Reflection

          I have learned a lot of things in the ten hours of church involvement I have done. During these ten hours I was asked to join the choir. Being a member of the choir is fun yet it is also not that easy. I can say it is difficult because there are lots of preparations to be made. We often held practices before and sometimes even after the mass. I realized that the choir is important in a parish. It is important because without it there will be no one who will lead in the singing during the mass. I can also say that the mass would be fast but boring without the choir. During the ten hours of church involvement, I met new people. They were all good. They didn’t make me feel left out because they were talking to me. The ten hours of church involvement was fun yet hectic. During my church involvement I was told to be a part of the choir during the 10 am mass. I had to wake up so early every Sunday to go mass and do my church involvement. But it was okay because I enjoyed singing for the mass on my parish. The ten hours of church involvement made me feel like a better person. It made me closer to God by singing in the choir. I hope that after the church involvement, I will still be close to my parish.
